Florida News
If you want to do some sunbathing in Florida do not go to Daytona Beach Shores. On Sunday two 16 year old girls were sunbathing in Volusia County, Florida and received quite a surprise. A local man ran his pick up truck right over the girls sunbathing on the beach. Ooops. Charges are pending on this accidental incident. The girls received minor injuries. It could have been worse if the girls actually went swimming. Volusia County, Florida has a high incidence of shark bites on humans.
Then, we can move on over to St. Petersburg in Pinellas County, Florida to check a little more than sunbathing. Christy Lynn Martin, 32 an Azalea Middle School teacher was released from jail on Sunday. Her crime was trading nude pictures with an eighth grader. She was charged with transmitting pornographic pictures through an electronic device. She will lose her job and probably never teach again and may be placed on a sexual offenders list; all for the joy of sending her nude images to a minor.
A St. Petersburg neighbor of Ms. Martin, Mark Dobson, 26 was charged with 11 counts of child pornography possession. Perhaps these two predators could get together and terrorize each other and leave minors alone.
