Back Pain is a Pain in the Back
Back pain – sooner or later we all experience the devastating pain. Our spine is delicate but strong. One wrong move, one slight bend, one little fall can start the process of constant suffering.
More people take time off from work due to back pain than any other ailment. Back pain is sneaky and elusive. It’s not like a hacking cough with green mucous, or a broken bone protruding through the skin. It hides beneath the skin and rears its ugly conduct sporadically and at times inconsistently.
It is a pain like no other pain and it emanates throughout the body. The neck hurts, the leg hurts, the head hurts and most likely the culprit is the spine. Off center, out of alignment, herniated, pinched, ruptured and many other conditions of the spine cause us undue pain and suffering.
A new mattress, more exercise, better shoes, bio feedback and numerous doctors are the paths to follow. Some procedures work and some don’t. Your outcome is like the toss of a coin. Heads you lose – tail you lose.
