Cell Phone Adventure

Published by dasein06 at 11:16 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Why is it that 2 weeks before the contract/agreement with my cell phone carrier ends my cell phone begins its decline?  First the battery will not hold a charge so I have to have it constantly plugged into a charger to talk.  This is difficult.  Then, my visuals leave me stranded and I can no longer look up my contacts.  Do I remember those numbers?  No.  Did I save them someplace?  No.  I have to wait the two weeks in order to get my special price and rebate.  HA.  So the wait is on.

Why is it that this dilema happens again and again at that precise time?  I believe the cell phone providers plan it that way, to either push me over the edge or make my two week wait time unbearable.  It’s a good thing I was on vacation, didn’t need to use my own phone as I had a back up phone.  Still, it annoys me that I have to put up with the companies ploys at making money through my pocketbook.

Why can’t a cell phone last forever?  Why is everything in today’s world have to be disposable?  Why are cell phone models upgraded every few months and my favorite cell phone has been discontinued?  So many questions with one answer.  Fleece the consumers.
